Dear Amy & Robert,
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you
how much we enjoy our visits to The Heritage. We always find it
so peaceful and relaxing there. The way the campground is
placed in such natural settings it makes the whole park
extremely picturesque and each campsite has the surrounding
forest for its very own yard!
We have taken so many pictures
of the lake with its soft, sandy beaches as well as the
beautiful sunsets that color the sky and reflect in its waters
but you just can't capture the aroma of the forest with a
camera. One can truly breathe deeply there!
Thank-you for sharing
your family's "Heritage" with All of Us!!
Sincerely,
Randy & Terri . . .

Hey guys,
my name is jonny I've been camping at yall's campgrounds a couple
times now and I just wanted to say how wonderful of a time I've had
every time I've been! Last time I went with a few of my
buddy's during the chili cook off and i was wondering' if yall had
any good pictures of that night. If you do please send them to
me, my wife would love to see them. My wife has also been
camping there and we both think hands down is the best place to go
camping in North Carolina. Well unfortunately I'm moving to
Chicago next week :( so I'll probably never get a chance to go to
yalls campgrounds anytime soon. Well, again thanks so much for
having such a wonderful campsite!
God Bless, Jonny
PS Thanks a lot for the home cooked breakfast that morning' we
woke up!

Hi Amy,
It's me Nikki again. How have you been? We
are doing well and are super excited to come visit again. In
fact we are so excited that we would actually like to extend our visit
another 5 days or so. We would like to stay until the 13th in
the same campsite if possible.
We will also be celebrating DJ's 3rd birthday there on
the 6th. We can't think of any place that we would rather
celebrate or that he would have more fun.
We can't wait to visit again. Take care and
thanks! We will see you soon!
Warmest regards,
Nikki

Dear Amy,
This stationary and the bookmarkers remind us of
Heritage Campground! Now we are in Waxhaw, NC camped at JAARS, which
translates Bibles worldwide. A former telephone company worker, of
Bill, runs the phone system here. He is keeping us very busy.
I sent Nancy . . . your email.
Maybe she'll contact you. She took a lot of pictures with her new
camera at Clyde's. I hope she'll share some.
Bill and I thank you and Robert for your kindnesses and
especially for running a wonderful campground. Have a great summer
filled with lots of campers.
Take care. With warm
wishes,
Maria and Bill

A Special Letter - Family
Pride
Dear Amy,
How proud I am for you, for all of the Sadler clan. Your Heritage
website's beautiful pix, associated activities, were a long time
dream of your parents. I recall the early stuggles to bring it all
to fruition. Just knowing the real family behind this legacy was
always an inspiration to me.
Your parents' passings were a great sorrow to me. They
embodied a grand sense of history and were true visionaries. Your
Mom's letters are tucked away in storage. So amazing she was.I shall
treasure her always. I loved the old illustrated trailer woe
stories, the great Amy chicken caper, and the family home
construction with a room for each child/adult.
Your Mom and I were next door neighbors on Tristan St. in
Houston. You were a lively tot about age four, and Abigail was a new
baby. My daughter, Rose was one year old then. Your mom was a real
friend to me. We had both lost our second babies and Faye was a
positive example to me. We bonded as mothers, remained friends. As
years pass, I recall her strengths, talents and visions of the
future for each of you.
Over these long years, I thought often of your family,
planned to visit when we would go East. After retiring from HISD,
Mr. Rick and I finally moved/built the shell log house on 5 acres we
had worked for 27 years. We still hang sheetrock, work our preschool
photography business, and dream of travel. Our family still involves
us. We pray for better times for all.
Thank you for carrying on the Sadler/Caddell genealogy and spirit.
Thank your mom for a daughter who maintains her dream.
Best Wishes,
Ruth 'Lorene' . . .

We had such fun coming to Clyde's again this

a hidden treasure !
Here are a couple pictures to start, & I'll try
to send some I took last year also.
Here I am with Andy Griffith's kin folk !
And John & I with good ole Clyde!
God Bless you & Amy,

Hi Amy & Robert,
We had the most
grand time while staying with you at The
Heritage. You have a gorgeous RV Park & we enjoyed all aspects of
nature while there.
Take care of yourselves,
have a profitable and worry free summer.
Let's revisit our "Buffet" night next summer.
God's blessings
always.
